CARING INSTRUCTIONS FOR MOHAIR BLANKETS AND CLOTHING

Mohair blankets will always shed a bit.

Mohair blankets and Clothing can be washed in

COLD or LUKE warm with

HAIR SHAMPOO or WOOLITE in a bath or tub.

1. DO NOT Wash it in a washing machine (it will loose the brushed mohair and loose it’s shape)
2. DO NOT Wash it hot water: (it will shrink)Tumble dry it.(it will shrink)
3. DO NOT spot rub.
4. DO NOT rub or wring:
5. Just move it around in the bath or tub with luke warm ,pull out the plug and press out the excess water. It can also soak overnight.
6. Rinse it in cold water with about 50ml well desolved conditioner.
7. Press out the most water as you can .
8. Put it in the washing machine,with the spin cycle on gentle and spin for a few SECONDS to get rid of excess water.
9. Hang the blanket on a washing line till dry.
10. Clothing items must be dried flat.
11. Optional: Brush blankets lightly with a soft brush to remove some of the loose hair.
12. You can dip the brush in water with a little well dissolved fabric softner/conditioner if you prefer the hair to be flat . Let it dry flat.
13. This process removes most of the loose fluff.
14. Dry clean is not recommended.
